I wish to see using the paper and my hands, as if the page was a window into a world still under construction. I wish to have this world on paper, visualised through my artistic filter and talents in charcoal and pastel. In the end, a monochromatic piece where the observer becomes part of the piece by visualizing the color (tints) is what I desire. A suggestion of form, shade, and more esoteric notions such as temperature is what I tend toward. And layered in. Although I still express color in some pieces shown on this website, I would still rather not draw the observer along by the nose.
